Breast tumour is very usual in female dogs who have not been spayed. The older they are, the more probably it becomes, and the more antibabies injections the got, the worse.
When one of these tumours breaks out and get infected some kind of "path" must be left for the pus to drain, from just a little hole (as if we forgot to do the last stitch) to a tube attached like in the left photo.
Most of them happen to be benign, but appears soon again. The way to prevent it is removing part or even the hole chain of breast, with their gland, becoming a more complicated surgery.
Los tumores de mama son muy frecuentes en perras que no han sido esterilizadas. A más edad, más probables, y a más inyecciones anticelo, peor.
Cuando uno de estos tumores se abre y se infecta, hay que dejar algún tipo de "camino" para que el pus drene, desde un simple agujero (como si hubiésemos olvidado el último punto) a un tubo adjunto, como en la foto izquierda.
La mayoría de ellos suelen ser benignos, pero reaparecen pronto. La forma de prevenir ésto es quitando parte, o incluso toda la cadena mamaria, con su gánglio, convirtiéndose en una cirugía complicada.
